Press Release: Click here to see the OPI San Francisco Collection press release & quick swatches of all the shades.Collection: OPI San Francisco Collection Fall/Winter 2013.OPI Nail Envy Nail Strengthener (Used as a base coat). This is just a plain straight up red with no shimmer or glitter and I think that it is a great addition to any collection! I’m pretty sad that they will be discontinuing it and I would highly recommend picking this up if you haven’t already and sooner rather than later. I’m so happy to have this in my collection. This is a gorgeous red jelly even with 4 coats there was still a little bit of visible nail line. There was also talk of OPI discontinuing I’m Not Really A Waitress which I reviewed here but I was still able to find it using the search tool on OPI.com so I think it’s safe for now.Ĥ coats of Vodka & Caviar indoors w/flash: I was on Makeup Alley a few weeks ago and there was some chatter regarding OPI discontinuing some pretty popular polishes a quick search of their website tells me that they did in fact discontinued Vodka & Caviar and Siberian Nights, which both happen to be from the Russian collection. I would say 50% of the colours in this collection have moved to core status. Overall this is a great collection with some stunning colours. I received the bulk of them in my Christmas stocking last year from my awesome husband. This would be the first large collection I own completely). There are some collections that I own the full collection but they are much smaller, like maybe 4 polishes in a collection. I actually own the entire collection, all 12 colours, and it’s the only collection (so far) that I own completely! (Edit: This is a total lie. Today I have a review of Vodka & Caviar from the Russian Collection which was released for Fall of 2007. Happy Friday! Any plans for the weekend? I have a little bit of running around to do tonight and tomorrow and I’m looking forward to spending time with my mom and family on Sunday. What do you think? What colours remind you of fall? Do you have anything from the OPI Russian Collection? I just did a quick search and found it on Amazon for a decent price. While this is not part of the core OPI collection it is still available online for purchase. This is a colour that was untried before today and I think something that I will reach for in the future. To me this is the perfect Fall nail polish colour. The formula was easy to work with and however there was a small amount of stain when I was cleaning up but with full removal there was no issues. I personally needed 3 coats because it was a little patchy in some places. It’s not so dark it looks black but it has a raisin kind of colouring for me. It’s really simple with no shimmer or anything else but I think it’s really special. Anyways let’s check out Boris & Natasha shall we.ģ coats of OPI Boris & Natasha topped with Cult Nails Wicked Fast: However I hope they never get rid of Midnight in Moscow it’s one of my favourite colours of all time. Recently they discontinued OPI Vodka & Caviar and Siberian Nights. I think at least half of the collection was made permanent however that is slowly starting to change. I actually own the whole collection so I will be making my way through it in the next couple of months. Boy did that collection have some great polishes! Midnight in Moscow, Vodka & Caviar, Russian Navy and Siberian Nights just to name a few. This polish was released as part of the 2007 Russian Collection. Happy Halloween Everyone! I will be showing what I wore for Halloween tomorrow but today I have a review of OPI Boris & Natasha. What do you think? Do you like this colour? Have you enjoyed what you have seen from the OPI Russian Collection? Check out others from the OPI Russian Collection: Vodka & Caviar and Boris and Natasha. While this has been discontinued by OPI you can still find it on Amazon and eBay for reasonable prices. To be honest this isn’t a really special colour but it would be good for a collection that requires a deep purple creme if you don’t have one already. I like this colour but I’m finding I don’t really have much to say about it. It was a little patchy but leveled out well after 3 coats. □ģ coats of OPI Siberian Nights topped with Cult Nails Wicked Fast: The Russian Collection is one of my favourites from OPI and as mentioned before I’m going to keep working my way through the collection to show you just how awesome it is. I believe it was replaced with a similar colour from the OPI Touring America Collection. Siberian Nights was discontiuned this past year. Today I have another nail polish for you from the 2007 Russian Collection by OPI, Siberian Nights. Happy Monday! I hope you had a good weekend.
